Summer ’13 – “Legal Operations Intern (Summer 2013)” – Electronic Arts; Redwood City, CA

We’re EA—the world’s largest video game publisher. You’re probably familiar with many of our titles—Madden, FIFA, The Sims, Need for Speed, Dead Space, Battlefield and Star Wars, to name a few.

Responsibilities might include:
- Sorting through trademark files
- Locating the trademark certificates and scanning and uploading them to our new digital trademark system

The intern will be supervised by an attorney who will review the work done by the intern and offer constructive feedback and instruction.

We are seeking a full-time summer intern interested in assisting our state tax editorial staff in completing a major research project. The intern will conduct research and will be involved with writing articles that analyze the research. The Legal Intern has primary responsibilities for entering contracts and updating contracts in our contract management system and provide legal support to the Springfield Referral and Central Illinois Divisions. The Legal Intern will report directly to the Vice President of Legal Affairs.

Work with Legal department to assist with general operations including response time and assistance with initial preparation of contracts for approved contract turnaround time and transparency to the process, litigation preparation, and intellectual property issues. Assist with contract management and patent work.

Summer ’13 – “Internship: Litigation Job” – SanDisk; Milpitas, CA

This intern will assist SanDisk’s Litigation group with projects relating to ongoing and potential litigation matters, including matters relating to patent infringement and antitrust claims. Responsibilities will include performing legal research and analysis, as well as assisting with development and execution of discovery response plans.
