This position is a challenging eight-week paid summer internship for a Law School Intern to conduct legal research, prepare internal legal memorandums, and assist with drafting of court-related documents.
The ideal candidate is a second or third year law student interested in pursuing a career as an in-house legal counsel and/or practice in the area of government contracts. Under the guidance of the company’s General Counsel, the Law School Intern will work on matters involving the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), bid protests, employment and labor law, intellectual property, export controls, and other legal/business issues as assigned. The selected candidate will also have the opportunity to work directly with the company’s senior executives in structuring joint ventures, teaming agreements, and subcontracts, and interact with outside counsel on civil litigation matters.
