Interacts with and conducts various duties and responsibilities for one or more functional teams in order to develop new skills and learn new areas of the business. Interns gain practical experience, relevant to their field of study, prior to college graduation.
The summer law clerk will work in Sysco’s legal department, assisting Sysco’s attorneys in daily work and projects. The summer law clerk will gain exposure to all areas within an in-house legal department, including transactions, mergers and acquisitions, employment, litigation, executive benefits and compensation, and securities.
The legal intern works closely with the corporate legal team on a variety of interesting legal projects such as contract management, legal research, securities work, intellectual property prosecution and management, corporate governance, human resources issues, litigation, document drafting and special projects. The intern will track multiple legal projects and ensure projects are delivered on time.
The Wealth Management Trust Internship Program will provide participants with a 10-week program experience that includes in-depth overviews of the Trust business, exposure to key leaders, coaching & mentoring. In addition to the program, participants will receive functional skills training & relevant work experience. We are looking for individuals to join this program in the summer of 2014.
